Since opening in May 2000, Killerig Golf Club has very quickly earned a reputation for having some of the finest greens in Ireland. Surrounded by a fabulous scenic hinterland landscape and framed on the west by the Killeshin Hills, Killerig Castle Golf & Country Club (plc) has constructed a superb new Par 72 Championship Golf Course at Killerig Cross, Carlow.

The course has been designed by Des Smyth, assisted by Declan Brannigan, and constructed by Paddy Governey and his golf course design and marketing company, which has been associated with Fota Island, Rathsallagh, Powerscourt and the Glen of the Downs
